Lausanne Collegiate and Trinity Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lausanne Collegiate had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 94-53 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Academy Lions. While losing is never fun, the Lynx can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Lions are ranked 31st).

Lausanne Collegiate's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zuri Mcclure, who went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and five boards. Mcclure's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Taylor, who went 5-for-6 to rack up 12 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaleb Williams, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 24 points in addition to six assists and three steals. That's the most points Williams has posted since back in February of 2024. Brayden Waller was another key player, going 6-for-12 en route to 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Lausanne Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-9.
