Volleyball Recap: Hampden DuBose Academy Comes Up Short

Hampden DuBose Academy lost against Legacy Charter back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Presley Johnson, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave Johnson a new career-high.

Hampden DuBose Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Legacy Charter, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hampden DuBose Academy will face off against Burns Sci-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Legacy Charter, they will square off against Holy Cross Lutheran Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
