Basketball Recap: Princeville Has No Trouble Against Bureau Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Abingdon/Avon, Princeville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-32 win over the Bureau Valley Storm. The Princes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

When it comes to explaining why Bureau Valley lost, don't look at Emily Wright. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and six boards. Those six rebounds gave Wright a new career-high. Madison Wetzell was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.

Princeville's record is now 13-11. As for Bureau Valley, they dropped their record down to 8-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeville has already played their next match (against Annawan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bureau Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Galva.
