Basketball Recap: Waukesha North Comes Up Short

Waukesha North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Oconomowoc Raccoons on the road by a 58-43 margin. While losing is never fun, the Northstars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Raccoons are ranked 85th).

Waukesha North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Oconomowoc, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waukesha North will challenge Muskego at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Muskego will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Waukesha North surely won't give up without a fight. Oconomowoc has already played their next contest (against Mukwonago), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
