Basketball Recap: Oklahoma City S Comes Up Short

Oklahoma City S was the 65-60 winner over Bishop McGuinness when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Oklahoma City S Storm took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Oklahoma City S still got an impressive performance from Matthew Mason, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 18 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Mason has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lael Eddens, who scored 11 points.

Bishop McGuinness can attribute much of their success to Cooper Bradley, who went 8-for-12 en route to 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, Bradley now owns an excellent 42.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Brody Parks was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Oklahoma City S has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-23 record this season. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Oklahoma City S has already played their next contest, an 87-37 victory against Grant on the 13th. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-54 win against Heritage Hall on the 14th.
