Volleyball Recap: H&H Takes a Loss

After flying high against McCool Junction on Thursday, H&H came back down to earth. The Bearcats fell just short of the Deshler Dragons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, H&H sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, H&H still got an impressive performance from Jaylah Gross, who had 20 digs and two aces. Gross is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

H&H dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Deshler, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

H&H didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against East Butler on the 27th. As for Deshler, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Red Cloud on the 27th.
