Soccer Recap: McMichael Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was McMichael who put the first goals on the board on Wednesday, it was Reidsville who put up more. The Phoenix fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of five yellow cards before it was all over.

SPENCER TAPLEY and RICHARD CASTANEDA scored both of McMichael's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

McMichael's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-2. As for Reidsville, their record is now 5-7-1.

Looking ahead, McMichael will challenge Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carver will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something McMichael surely won't give up without a fight. As for Reidsville, they will square off against Morehead at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Reidsville are facing Morehead at the right time seeing as Morehead are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
