Softball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Triton's offense. They fell just short of the Pine Island Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Cobras haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pine Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Triton has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 loss against Lourdes on the 15th. As for Pine Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Stewartville on the 15th.
