Basketball Recap: Poway Starts off Right with Win over Olympian + How To Watch

Poway had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 71-66 victory over the Olympian Eagles. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 59-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Olympian still got an impressive performance from Jordan Walker, who posted 31 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Tristan Anderson, who had 13 points and eight steals.

Olympian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Poway will take on Fountain Valley in a tournament on Monday. As for Olympian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scripps Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
