Volleyball Recap: Ruskin Comes Up Short

The Ruskin Golden Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Belton Pirates on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

While Ruskin ultimately came up short, they really made Belton work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 20-25, 28-26, 15-11.

Ruskin's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Belton, their victory bumped their record up to 18-14-3.

Ruskin has already played their next contest (against Grandview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Belton, they will venture away from home to square off against Raytown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates are facing the Bluejays at the right time seeing as the Bluejays are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
