It was a good run, but Notre Dame unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Marquand-Zion Tigers.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 14-13-1. As for Marquand-Zion, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-7.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Fredericktown on the 19th. As for Marquand-Zion, they will take on Kennett at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
