The Charles O. Dickerson Blue Raiders will take on the Moravia Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Charles O. Dickerson comes in on four and Moravia on ten.
Last Saturday, Charles O. Dickerson faced Greene in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Charles O. Dickerson didn't even let Greene onto the board and left with a 48-0 victory. That's two games straight that Charles O. Dickerson has won by exactly 48 points.
Chandler Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 186 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Wright was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Charles O. Dickerson also got a significant boost from Dikota Hamilton, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.
Meanwhile, Moravia can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They beat Unatego by the very same score they won with last week: 56-12. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Moravia just coasted through the last quarter.
Their wins bumped Charles O. Dickerson to 7-1 and Moravia to 10-0.
Charles O. Dickerson took a serious blow against Moravia when the teams last played back in September, falling 56-29. Can Charles O. Dickerson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
