Softball Game Preview: Riverside Generals vs. Ribault Trojans

The Riverside Generals will face off against the Ribault Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Riverside came up short against Christ's Church Academy on Tuesday, falling 17-1. The Generals have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

K Ragland was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Ribault lost 14-3 to Englewood on Tuesday.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ribault, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Riverside's way against Ribault in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Riverside made off with a 23-12 win. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
