Baseball Recap: Maypearl Takes a Loss

Maypearl saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Van Vandals by a score of 3-2.

Maypearl now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Van, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Maypearl will take on Decatur in a tournament on Friday. The last four games Maypearl has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Van, they will face off against Springtown at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
