Softball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Frankfort Hot Dogs

For the second straight game, Tri-West Hendricks will face off against Frankfort. The Bruins will challenge the Hot Dogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-West Hendricks is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Tri-West Hendricks' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Frankfort with a sharp 9-0 victory.

Adelyn Lengerich made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Norman, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Emma Charles was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
