Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Liberty Common Eagles, falling 11-1. Valley were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 8-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Jackie Gonzalez-Pizano, which was the first she's scored this season.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Liberty Common, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valley will take on rival Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty Common is set to challenge their familiar foe Longmont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
