Recap: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Hamilton Aggies
After a string of three wins, the Cordova Blue Devils's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Hamilton on the road and fell 63-32. Cordova has not had much luck with Hamilton recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Cordova still got an impressive performance from Ella Grace Madison, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Aubrey Sorrells continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hamilton, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Sorrells hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Jordan Parker, who scored 22 points.
Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Cordova will take on Curry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Curry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Cordova is ranked 155th). As for Hamilton, they will head out on the road to take on Haleyville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haleyville is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
