Ascent Classical Academy is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Nederland: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ascent Classical Academy blew Nederland out of the water with a 47-15 final score. The Guardians pushed the score to 35-9 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Monument Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Calhan and fell 68-14. The Lynx were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-9.

Monument Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ascent Classical Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Everything came up roses for Ascent Classical Academy against Monument Academy in their previous meeting last Monday, as the squad secured a 65-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ascent Classical Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
