Basketball Game Preview: Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars vs. West Mesa Mustangs

Atrisco Heritage Academy is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Thursday. They lost 49-24 to Rio Grande.

One of the most notable was Monique Sena, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Johnnay Edwards was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Atrisco Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for West Mesa, their record is now 14-10.

Atrisco Heritage Academy came up short against West Mesa in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Sena, who posted 24 points in addition to five assists and five steals.
