 Carteret put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season  on Friday. They never let Timothy Christian onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. Winning may never get old, but Carteret sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Luis Hernandez tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Justin Santana, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  James Rodriguez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Carteret's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Timothy Christian, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Carteret will be playing at home against Piscataway at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Carteret is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game  this season. As for Timothy Christian, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Piscataway Vo-Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
