Volleyball Preview: Therrell Panthers vs. South Atlanta Hornets
Therrell and South Atlanta are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Therrell Panthers will head out to face off against the South Atlanta Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Therrell is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Therrell came up short against Lovett and fell 2-0.
After all that action, the final score was 25-4, 25-5.
Meanwhile, South Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Miller Grove.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21.
Therrell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for South Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Therrell beat South Atlanta 2-0 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for Therrell since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
