While Grapevine didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Royse City Bulldogs 3-0 on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Grapevine never let Royse City on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-21.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Royse City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grapevine will challenge Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Royse City and Corsicana will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
