Baseball Recap: Brimley Bays vs. Cedarville Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pickford, Brimley was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Cedarville Trojans get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 two weeks ago.
Scott Bowen was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Bowen was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Brimley got a massive performance out of Trey Lynn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Micah Morrison, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Brimley's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Cedarville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

As for Cedarville, they will challenge Pickford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
