Soccer Recap: Pace Academy Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Pace Academy finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 5-1 to the Lovett Lions. Pace Academy haven't had much luck with Lovett recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Pace Academy's goal came courtesy of Kate Leach, who's now up to four this season.

Pace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Lovett, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Pace Academy will face off against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Lovett, they will take on Campbell at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
