Monona Grove waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the DeForest Norskies with a sharp 65-43 victory. Given the Silver Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Norskies are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Monona Grove's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for DeForest, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Coming up, Monona Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Monroe at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday. DeForest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
