Basketball Recap: Ashley Comes Up Short

Ashley came up into this matchup off a tough 50-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the West Brunswick Trojans by a score of 64-61 on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagle were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 47-42.

West Brunswick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from K'Veon Griffin, who went 10 of 12 en route to 23 points and five assists. The game was Griffin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matthew McKenney, who posted 20 points and five steals.
