Soccer Game Preview: Auburndale vs. Innovation

The Auburndale Bloodhounds will face off against the Innovation Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburndale is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Auburndale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Gateway 3-2. Auburndale wouldn't have won without Jessie Perez, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Innovation got the win against Lake Buena Vista on Friday by a conclusive 4-1. Innovation might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Auburndale's win bumped their record up to 14-3-2. As for Innovation, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1.

Auburndale suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Innovation in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Can the Bloodhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
