Football Recap: Madison/Hamilton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Madison/Hamilton extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They strolled past the Burlingame Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 42-26. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 66-16 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Burlingame fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Burlingame's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danny Cain, who rushed for 80 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 205 yards on 18 of 32 attempts. Drake Skirvin was another key pass catcher, picking up 97 receiving yards.

Looking ahead, Madison/Hamilton will challenge Yates Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burlingame, they will host Centre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
