Moapa Valley extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Phoebe Leavitt. The Pirates put the hurt on the Cristo Rey St. Viator Royals with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday for which the team can thank Leavitt, who had 21 assists and seven aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Moapa Valley took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-4, 25-11.

Moapa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Moapa Valley will take on Folsom in a tournament on Friday. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Meadows School at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
