Basketball Game Preview: Johnson County Trojans vs. Hancock Central Bulldogs

Johnson County is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Hancock Central is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Johnson County didn't have too much trouble with Wilkinson County as they won 51-36. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

SaNoriya Norris was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ziyah Lewis, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Hancock Central had just enough and edged Glascock County out 40-37 on Thursday.

Hancock Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Johnson County, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.
