Soccer Recap: Melvindale Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Melvindale has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Jefferson Bears on Friday, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Jefferson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Melvindale's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Jefferson, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Melvindale will face off against Romulus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will take on Anderson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
