Basketball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Comes Up Short

Guernsey-Sunrise lost against Niobrara County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings were outmatched by the Niobrara County Tigers and fell 53-16.

Guernsey-Sunrise now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Niobrara County, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Guernsey-Sunrise will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midwest at 12:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025. Niobrara County will take on Crawford in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
