Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 59-33 to the Flour Bluff Hornets. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.

King's loss dropped their record down to 7-28. As for Flour Bluff, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King is set to face off against their familiar foe Gregory-Portland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Flour Bluff will challenge rival Corpus Christi Moody at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
