Volleyball Recap: Licking Heights Comes Up Short

The Licking Heights Hornets didn't have quite enough to beat the Westerville South Wildcats on Wednesday and fell 3-2. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Licking Heights took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 18-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Licking Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Westerville South, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Licking Heights will take on Worthington Kilbourne at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westerville South, they will host Hilliard Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
