Lansing waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Spencer-Van Etten Panthers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering the Bobcats have won three contests by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lansing pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Spencer-Van Etten, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Lansing will square off against Charles O. Dickerson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bobcats 2.4, the Blue Raiders 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Spencer-Van Etten, they will face off against Whitney Point at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
