Football Recap: Tuslaw Comes Up Short

If Tuslaw was riding high fresh off their 33-12 takedown of Toronto last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs and the Northwest Indians were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Mustangs suffered a 13-12 defeat. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Tuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Northwest, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tuslaw will challenge rival Canton South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northwest is set to take on their familiar foe Fairless at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
