Soccer Recap: Leesburg Takes a Loss

Leesburg fell victim to Springstead and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Springstead Eagles, falling 6-0. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leesburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Springstead, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Leesburg will be playing at home against Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Umatilla will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Leesburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Springstead, they will venture away from home to challenge Nature Coast Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
