Soccer Recap: Buhach Colony Takes a Loss

Buhach Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Capitan Gauchos. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on January 10th.

Their goal came courtesy of Gionni Laplante, who's now up to eight this season.

Buhach Colony's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for El Capitan, they now have a winning record of 6-5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buhach Colony will venture away from home to face off against Los Banos at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for El Capitan, they will head out to challenge Golden Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Golden Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
