Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Calvary Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mason County Royals by a score of 2-1. Calvary Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mason County earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The loss snapped Calvary Christian's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record. As for Mason County, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will head out to face off against St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mason County, they will face off against East Carter at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Carter will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mason County surely won't give up without a fight.
