Nathaniel De La Garza continued his hot streak on Tuesday by dropping his fifth-straight game with at least two steals. He went 8 of 14 en route to 25 points. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against La Joya back in January of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. That was a full 62.5% of Economedes's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Economedes Jaguars duke it out with the Weslaco Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. De La Garza hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 21.5 per game this season), but he'll have his work cut out for him against a dominant the Panthers defense that's only given up 19.7 points per game.
