Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral lost against GV Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cowboys took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guardians.

Chaparral may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for GV Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Chaparral will host Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for GV Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lake Mead Christian Academy on the 30th.
