Volleyball Recap: Idalou Comes Up Short

Idalou and Compass Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Idalou had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The sweep was certainly out of character for the Wildcats, seeing as the last time the team was held without a set was September 8th.

Compass Academy was led to victory by Ellie Molinar and Holly Forrest. Molinar had 16 digs and two aces, while Forrest had seven kills, five digs, and three aces. Another player making a difference was Jalie Lankford, who had six kills and three digs.

Idalou does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Compass Academy, they will square off against Wall on Thursday.
