It was a good run, but Imani Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers, falling 80-59. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Imani Christian Academy lost, don't look at RJ Sledge. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Markus Williams, who put up 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Archbishop Spalding's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colt Busse, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points. Busse's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Braxton Bogard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
