Sun Valley Magnet came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards with a sharp 22-5 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 27-6 back in April.

Sun Valley Magnet pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Valley Oaks CES, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
