Football Recap: University of Detroit Jesuit Takes a Loss

University of Detroit Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Brother Rice Warriors, falling 35-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 21-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

University of Detroit Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brother Rice, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

University of Detroit Jesuit will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lumen Christi Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Brother Rice, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
