Basketball Recap: Thomasville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thomasville lost against Bishop McGuinness back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Bulldogs and the Villains didn't end well, with the Bulldogs falling 72-54. The Bulldogs were down 60-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Thomasville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rj Drayton shot 67% from the field on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ziyhan Taylor, who posted nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Thomasville and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Thomasville has already played their next matchup, a 56-46 victory against Glenn on the 2nd. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-38 win against Jackson Day on the 3rd.
