Texico won the last time they faced Jal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Texico Wolverines walked away with a 63-56 victory over the Jal Panthers. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won three contests in a row.

Jal's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolbert Cervantes, who posted 22 points and three steals. Cervantes has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more points the last 12 times he's played. A3 Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Texico's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Jal, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Texico has already played their next matchup, a 79-36 win against Tatum on the 21st. As for Jal, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-52 victory against Hagerman on the 21st.
