Volleyball Recap: Carson's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the San Pedro Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Colts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Carson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

The victory got Carson back to even at 4-4. As for San Pedro, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Carson will be taking part in a tournament against Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwalk will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Carson surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, San Pedro and Banning will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
