Basketball Recap: Dobbs Ferry Gets the Win

It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Dobbs Ferry ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 64-59 W over the Clarkstown South Vikings.

Anthony Ficarrotta went supernova for Dobbs Ferry, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Mateus Hertzbird, who posted 16 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Dobbs Ferry now has a winning record of 2-1.

Dobbs Ferry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-50 win against Clarkstown North on the 12th. As for Clarkstown South, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
