Softball Recap: Canyon Hills Rattlers vs. Morse Tigers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Canyon Hills had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Morse Tigers. The win continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.
Natalye Debus was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
